Meet the Doctor
Dr. Adam L. Holton
Dr. Adam L. Holton, DDS grew up in Alta, Iowa where he graduated from Alta Senior High School. He went on to complete his undergraduate studies at the University of Iowa.
Dr. Holton received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2015 from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and Dental Clinics. Dr. Holton completed an internship at the University of Iowa Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department where he was nominated for Professor of the year in 2015-16. Dr. Holton went on to complete his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in 2021.
Dr. Holton practices a broad scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery including outpatient sedation/general anesthesia, dentoalveolar surgery, dental implant surgery, hard and soft tissue grafting, orthognathic surgery, pathology, reconstruction, oral and maxillofacial trauma, and management of odontogenic infections.
Dr. Holton is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and has full hospital privileges at Spencer Hospital. He is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the Iowa Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
Dr. Holton and his wife, Dr. Taylor, are proud parents of their Three daughters Graysen, Navy, and Norah. Having grown up in Northwest IA, they are thrilled to be back serving their community. In his spare time, Dr. Holton enjoys time at the lake with family, hunting, golfing, and watching the Iowa Hawkeyes.
